That’s the simple message from Maple Fleet Services to all the UK’s councils and private waste collection companies.

Drivelock, a tried and tested solution, was re-launched at the CV Show in April in a bid to help operators improve vehicle safety and adhere to the Road Regulations Act of 1988. The Drivelock system allows a vehicle to be left unattended with the engine running and the keys left in the ignition. Any unauthorised attempt to move or start the vehicle, immediately locks the handbrake, sounds an alarm and cuts the engine. “This means (more…)
